Empowering Youth Through Biking

Transforming Mobility in South LA

Join us in our mission to provide equitable bike education and repair services, fostering independence and mobility justice for young people in South Central Los Angeles.

SERVICES

Empowerment Through Accessibility

At Happy Chaos Bike Lab, we make biking easier for everyone. Our mission is simple: to empower communities by offering accessible bike care and safety education through strong partnerships with organizations like the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), the Los Angeles County Library, and other local groups. By working together, we ensure that historically marginalized communities have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to maintain their bikes, ride safely, and enjoy the freedom of joyful mobility.

Mobile Bicycle Repairs

Our mobile bike lab brings comprehensive tune‑ups and repairs directly to community pop‑ups—always in community spaces such as parks, schools, and events—ensuring your ride stays smooth, safe, and ready to roll.

Community Voices + Storytelling

Our lab doubles as a creative recording space for podcasts and audio projects, giving community members a platform to share their stories, ideas, and experiences around cycling.

Community Engagement + Partnerships

We collaborate with schools and local organizations to design after‑school programs that teach bike safety, repair skills, and confidence—empowering through hands‑on learning.
